Staging
143 Powers Street – Unit 1
The goal with the staging for this property was to juxtapose a more mature aesthetic on the ground floor with a much more eclectic vibe on the next level. Because the second floor was a one-bedroom, it was more likely to appeal to a younger or first time buyer.
Knowing our target demographic, we chose fun and funky elements like bold Moroccan-style rugs, trendy woven caning chairs, and a crushed velvet sofa in the living room. In the sunny bedrooms, we paired floral patterns in blush and pink with pops of gold that would reflect light around the room. Accordion doors were another unique element in this unit.
In contrast, the first floor interior design focused more on a more mature home buyer with gorgeous furnishings from established brands like Anthropologie. We also strategically placed over-sized mirrors to enhance the width of the space and capitalize on the soaring 12-foot ceilings.
